Cho-Liang Lin begins a busy month on March 2, performing in concert with the Qingdao Symphony in Qingdao, China. Conducted by Zhang Guoyong, the concert includes Brahms’s Hungarian Dance No. 2 and Violin Concerto in D major, as well as Strauss’s Also sprach Zarathustra.
Next, on March 10, Lin performs with pianist Evelyn Chen and cellist Brinton Averil Smith at the Wortham Foundation Theatre in Houston, Texas. The trio performs Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio in A minor.
Towards the end of the month, Lin performs as part of the Sonoran Chamber Music Series with violist Aloysia Friedmann, cellist Tom Landschoot, and pianist Jon Kimura Parker. This concert is held on March 17 at Katzin Concert Hall, part of the Arizona State University.
