October Performances in Maryland and New York

On October 12, Cho-Liang Lin performs as a soloist and guest conductor with the Apollo Orchestra at the Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, Maryland. The evening includes works by Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Brahms.

Later, on October 15, Lin joins pianist Orion Weiss for a special evening to benefit the Kaufman Music Center’s Special Music School. A unique public/private partnership between Kaufman Music Center and the New York City Department of Education, the Special Music School (M. 859) is New York City’s only K-12 public school for musically gifted children. The evening is hosted by Rosalind Devon and Cathy White O’Rourke and will welcome Kaufman Music Center’s new Executive Director, Kate Sheeran.
