Lin performs with Gonzaga Symphony, Musicians Emergency Fund, and Sonoran Chamber Music Series

This October, Cho-Liang Lin performs as a special guest with the Gonzaga Symphony, the Musicians Emergency Fund, and the Sonoran Chamber Music Series.

Lin first visits Washington for a program of Lalo Schifrin's Tangos Concertantes and Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen with Kevin Hekmatpanah and the Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra on October 17.

The celebrated violinist then travels to New York for a concert on October 22 at Alice Tully Hall with Orion Weiss; the Verona Quartet, and violinists Qing Yu Chen and So Jin Kim, who are current and former students of Lin's. The concert, part of the Musicians Emergency Fund's season, features a program of Prokofiev's Sonata in C Major, Moszkowski's Suite in G Minor, and Chausson's Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet.

On October 30, Lin opens the Sonoran Chamber Music Series's season with a concert at the ASU Concert Hall with cellist Thomas Landschoot and pianist Zhang Zou. The trio performs Beethoven's Piano Trio in B flat Major, Arensky's Piano Trio in D Minor, and Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A Minor. Prior to the concert, Lin gives a masterclass on October 28 that is free and open to the public.
