Cho-Liang Lin performs Mozart Sinfonia Concertante with Mannes Chamber Orchestra

Cho-Liang Lin returns to New York this October to perform Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante with Jaime Laredo and the Mannes Chamber Orchestra on October 9 at The New School's Auditorium. 

Celebrating the Mannes Schneider Concerts' sixtieth anniversary season, Lin appears on a program that also includes Hande's Concerto Grosso No. 1 in G Major, Vivaldi's Sinfonia in B Minor, and Haydn's Symphony No. 49 in F Minor.

Tangos Concertantes with the Apollo Orchestra

On the heels of his appearance at Chamber Music International, Cho-Liang Lin performs in another season opening concert with the Apollo Orchestra. 

Lin performs Lalo Schifrin's Tangos Concertantes in a program that also features Debussy's La mer and Strauss's Rosenkavalier Suite. 

The concert, on September 30 at the Church of the Little Flower Parish in Bethesda, MD, is free of charge and open to the public

Cho-Liang Lin opens 2016-17 season with Chamber Music International

Celebrated recitalist and chamber musician Cho-Liang Lin opens Chamber Music International's 2016-17 season with a special concert on September 18.

Performing alongside violinist Stephanie Jeong, violist Che-Yen Chen, cellist Clive Greensmith, and pianist Qian Wu, Lin leads a matinee of chamber masterworks. The program includes Mozart's Duo for Violin and Viola in G Major, Arensky's Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, and Franck's Piano Quintet in F Minor.

Finale of SummerFest with James Conlon and Gil Shaham

The final week of SummerFest begins with a spotlight on woodwinds on the evening of August 23. The program features Haydn's String Quartet in B flat Major, Neilson's Wind Quintet in A Major, Britten's Six Metamorphoses for Solo Oboe and closes with Fauré's Piano Quartet in C Minor. 

On August 24, Marc-André Hamelin brings a program of new works and audience favorites to SummerFest in the festival's penultimate performance. Hamelin performs the world premiere of his own work Four Perspectives with cellist Hai-Ye Ni, Liszt's Piano Sonata in B Minor, and Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A Minor with violinist Paul Huang and cellist Mischa Maisky. 

SummerFest closes on August 26 with festival guests Maestro James Conlon and violinist Gil Shaham. The SummerFest Chamber Orchestra joins for Schubert's Symphony No. 5 in B flat Major, Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2 in G Minor and Mozart's Symphony No. 34 in C Major.

Journey through time and space with SummerFest

After an evening of Dutilleux, Fauré, and Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time, SummerFest audiences can enjoy a performance of Latin jazz works by Paquito D'Rivera on August 17.

On August 19 and 20, Mischa Maisky performs Bach's Suites for Unaccompanied Cello, playing all six suites over the two evenings. The following evening, Music Director Cho-Liang Lin joins SummerFest musicians for a program of quintets by Bolcom, Mozart, and Schumann.

In the final week, SummerFest features a program of woodwinds, an evening with Marc-André Hamelin, and a special finale with Maestro James Conlon and violinist Gil Shaham.
